Preparing for Your Dumpster Delivery & Pickup in OFallon, MO: A Checklist

To ensure a smooth dumpster rental experience with GI Bins Dumpster Rental in the OFallon, MO area, follow this simple checklist:

Before Delivery:

• Choose a Placement Location:Select a flat, level, hard surface (driveway is common). Avoid soft ground where the heavy truck and dumpster could sink or cause damage.Ensure the location is clear of obstructions: At least 60-80 feet of straight clearance for the delivery truck to back in, and about 20-25 feet of overhead clearance (no low-hanging wires, tree branches). The dumpster footprint itself (e.g., 8ft wide x 10-22ft long) plus space to walk around it and operate the loading door (if applicable).
• Check for Local OFallon, MO Permits: If the dumpster needs to be placed on a public street, sidewalk, or right-of-way, you may need a permit from your local OFallon, MO municipality. Check this in advance.
• Clear the Area: Remove any vehicles, equipment, debris, or overhanging obstacles from the chosen placement area and the truck's access path before our scheduled delivery time.
• Communicate Specific Instructions: If you have specific placement instructions or concerns about your OFallon, MO property (e.g., new driveway, underground utilities), communicate these to GI Bins when ordering.
• Driveway Protection (Optional): If you're concerned about your driveway, consider laying down plywood sheets where the dumpster wheels and rails will rest. Discuss this with us; sometimes, we can provide this service.

During Your Rental Period:

• Load Evenly: Distribute weight evenly inside the dumpster. Place heavier items at the bottom and towards the center.
• Do Not Overfill: Debris must not extend above the top rim of the dumpster. Overfilled dumpsters cannot be safely transported and may require you to offload material, incurring delays or fees.
• Adhere to Weight Limits: Be mindful of the weight allowance for your specific dumpster size, especially with heavy debris like concrete or shingles.
• No Prohibited Materials: Only dispose of acceptable materials as discussed with GI Bins and outlined in your rental agreement.

For Pickup:

• Ensure Clear Access: Just like delivery, make sure the area around and in front of the dumpster is clear for our truck to access it easily.
• Close Loading Doors (if applicable): Ensure any dumpster doors are securely closed.
• Confirm Pickup Schedule: Call GI Bins to schedule your pickup when the dumpster is ready or your rental period is ending.Following these steps helps ensure your GI Bins Dumpster Rental experience in OFallon, MO is safe, efficient, and trouble-free.
